Christina Denk is a Certified Public Accountant and has been working in the financial sector for more than 15 years. She combined her three-year banking apprenticeship at a major bank with a dual business administration degree specialising in banking and already focused on auditing at that time. She spent around ten years gaining practical auditing experience on numerous auditing mandates for small and medium-sized banks, securities firms and asset managers. She also worked as an internal auditor for a major bank. Her range of experience is rounded off by three years as an outsourced compliance and risk management officer for asset managers and as a consultant to financial institutions in these areas, which included preparing numerous licence applications.
Her particular areas of expertise included internal organisation, compliance, internal control systems, risk management and asset management.
