Marc Raggenbass studied law at the University of Bern and is admitted to the legal bar. He completed a postgraduate degree in International Business Law (LL.M.) at the University of Zurich. Before joining SWA Swiss Auditors AG as a Director on 1 July 2023, he was a member of the Executive Board and General Counsel of a Swiss bank for several years. Prior to that, he was a partner in an international law firm, headed the Regulatory, Compliance & Legal division as a partner at Deloitte AG and worked as a lawyer at KPMG AG. Marc Raggenbass began his professional career as a research assistant at the Swiss National Bank and as a legal advisor in Group Legal Services at Zurich Insurance Group.

Marc Raggenbass has been advising Swiss and foreign financial institutions for over 30 years on all aspects of financial market law as well as on corporate governance, compliance and risk management issues. He also supports financial institutions in various regulatory licensing processes (formation, legal changes, return of licence) of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), and handles mandates on behalf of FINMA as an investigating and auditing officer.
