Michael Gurdan is a certified auditor and holds a master’s degree from the University of Basel. Having worked in auditing for financial institutions for more than 25 years, he has experience in auditing and advising national and regional banks, fund management companies, asset managers and other institutions regulated by the Swiss Collective Investment Schemes Act, as well as various investment foundations. He is accredited with FINMA as a lead auditor for both banks and Swiss collective investment schemes.

Besides managing financial and regulatory audits, he has extensive experience in conducting special statutory audits for scenarios such as mergers, partial dispositions, assets in kind, service organizations (ISAE 3402 reporting), and all types of licensing audits. His in-depth knowledge of how to evolve internal processes and implement new regulatory requirements rounds off his profile.

In addition, Michael Gurdan is a member of the Expert Committee for Collective Investment Schemes of EXPERTsuisse.

He always seeks to bring this long-standing expertise to bear in his auditing and advisory work in a way that is profitable and right for his clients.
