Thomas Bucher is an IT specialist with a Swiss Federal Diploma, MAS Bank Management, DAS Compliance Management and he holds various specialist certifications (including CISA and CIA). He has over 20 years’ experience in auditing and advising financial institutions in the areas of compliance, operational risk management and the establishment, expansion and monitoring of control systems.

Among other things, he was responsible for IT Audit and Internal Audit at Deloitte Switzerland, Head of Governance Operations at Bank Vontobel, Team Leader Risk Control Operational Risks at PostFinance and a member of the management team for IT Audit, IT Assurance and IT Advisory mandates at BDO.
